Teche Area cooks interested in submitting their family’s favorite recipes for publication in The Daily Iberian’s annual cookbook, distributed in September during the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival, still have time to decide what to send. This year the publisher and editorial staff are waiting to see the variety coming in before deciding what categories will be featured, and, if or when a cookoff will be part of the sampling to determine editorial bragging rights.
