Memorial services for Mr. Mark Tenney, 60, will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Acadian Funeral Home. Father Bill Melancon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church will officiate at the service. 

The funeral home will open at 4 p.m. and close at 7 p.m. Service time is at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private and held at a later date.

Mr. Tenney passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Lafayette General Hospital. He was born in New Iberia on July 30, 1957. He enjoyed reading, spending time on Facebook and taking care of his dogs. 

Left behind to cherish his memory are four children Gwendelynn Durand of New Iberia, Markie Lynn (Drake) of Coteau, Cheyenne (Brendon) of Saint Martinville and Curtis Leger (Miranda) of New Iberia; seven brothers and sisters Linda (Preston) Hebert, Gale (Jerry) Collins, Randy (Vickie) Tenney, Sandy (Olan) Bourque, Cathy (Ulysses) Bouton, Ricky (Annette) Tenney and Robin (Steve) Breaux; grandchildren Paige Rae, Chase, Gavin, Ginger, Bailey, Anaka, Keryth, and Elayne; former wife, Linda Ireland Tenney; and former mother-in-law Betty Ireland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Tenney Sr. and Bertha Hanks Tenney; one brother Allen Tenney Jr.; and a nephew and godchild Chad LeBlanc.
