The New Iberia Police Department is investigating a shooting at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police Chief Todd D’Albor said multiple shots were fired in the area of Mississippi Street, with one person suffering minor wounds as a result. The police chief said multiple tips have been received and the police department is investigating the shooting.
