ST. MARTINVILLE — A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Eugenie Marie LaGrange, 71, who passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday and continue on Friday at 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Rev. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial. 

Eugenie was a faithful parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping and visiting with friends. Eugenie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brother George LaGrange III and wife, Nettie; nephews Ken, Blaine, Ryan and Deke LaGrange; nieces Michelle LeBlanc, Gina LaGrange and Leah LaGrange; three great-nephews; seven great-nieces; one great-great-niece; and one great-great-nephew. 

She was preceded in death by her father, George LaGrange Jr. and her mother, Irene Biegel LaGrange.

Pallbearers will be Ken LaGrange, Blaine LaGrange, Ryan LaGrange, Deke LaGrange, Lacke LeBlanc and Liam LaGrange.
