SMPSO arrests two in drug cases

ST. MARTINVILLE — St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics agents arrested two men on drug charges in separate incidents in the Cecilia area of St. Martin Parish. 

Corey Courville, 28, of Breaux Bridge, and Thomas Arnaud, 24, of Arnaudville, were arrested Monday and Tuesday, respectively, for the drug charges.

Courville was charged with simple possession of schedule 1 marijuana, possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. 

Arnaud was arrested for violations of controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm/concealed by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule I narcotics. 

Following their arrests, they were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges.
