The New Iberia Police Department arrested a juvenile Monday for a burglary Aug. 22. 

According to a prepared statement, officers investigated a burglary on Aug. 23 at North Street Elementary School. 

Police officers charged the juvenile with the crime and booked him into the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Center.
