CHS falls in five

LAKE CHARLES — The ESA Lady Falcons beat Urusuline Academy and St. Louis in the Westlake tournament on Saturday to improve to 6-0 on the volleyball season.

ESA beat Ursuline 25-13, 25-18. Taylore Louviere had five kills, five assists, two aces and two digs to pace the Lady Falcons.

Peyton Stokley added seven assists, three aces and six digs; Hailie Williams had five kills, three aces and one dig; Kailie Williams added three kills and one block; Maudry Nichols had four kills and six digs; Maggie Shuffler had one Kill, three aces and one dig; Madyson McBroom had 11 digs and three aces; and Sydnee Buchanan and Eleanor Cowan had one dig apiece.

ESA beat St. Louis 25-15, 25-20 with Louviere getting six kills, four assists, four aces, three digs and one block.

Stokley added 10 assists, one kill, three digs and one block; Hailie Williams had five kills and one dig; Kailie Williams had six kills, two aces, two digs and one block; Maggie Shuffler had two kills; Madyson McBroom added two aces and six digs; Maudry Nichols had three digs; Graycee Cline had three aces; and Caroline Ayers had four digs.

ESA plays host to North Vermilion Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. and travels to Notre Dame thursday at 6 p.m.
