Mary Lorraine Freeman Harding

Mary Lorraine Freeman Harding, 80, a resident and native of Jeanerette, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018, at 1:23 p.m. at the Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia.

Visitation will be observed on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. at the St. Paul United Methodist Church 1405 Annie Moore Drive, Jeanerette, LA 70544. A celebration of life, celebrating the life of Mrs. Mary Lorraine Harding will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Darrell W Briggs Sr. officiating the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Rising Sun Cemetery in Jeanerette.

Memories of Mary Lorraine will forever remain in the hearts of her loving husband, Herbert H. Harding of Jeanerette; two sons Dwayne (Monica) Harding of Franklin and Donald R. (Beverly) Harding of Jeanerette; one daughter Donna Maxine (Wendell) Bogan of Verdunville; a daughter-in-law Naomi R. Harding; one brother G. R. Freeman; a cousin who was reared as a brother Virgil (Lena) Williams all of Jeanerette; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary Lorriane was preceded in death by her parents, George Freeman and Alma Robertson-Freeman; one son Barry Harding; and two grandchildren Darius Harding and Demond Harding.
