Simple tips for Sugar Cane Fest

Festival season is just around the corner and Iberia Parish’s own Sugar Cane Festival and Fair begins next week! 

For those participating in this years’ activities, keep these simple tips in the back of your mind. 

Remember to lock the doors to your houses before leaving. If you’re going to be gone for the evening, turn your outside lights on to your home. 

If you will be leaving your vehicle at any point, ensure that the doors are locked and that nothing of value is visible inside. 

These simple steps will help to save your property, but most importantly, save your life and others’ lives by not drinking and driving this festival season.
