A home-going celebration will be held for Ms. Cassandra Elizabeth Morris, 41, at 12 p.m. Friday October 5, 2018, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Pastor Debra Wright George, officiating.

Interment will be private.

A gathering of family and friends will held on Friday at Fletcher Funeral Home 8 a.m. until time of service.

A resident of Saint Martinville and native of New Iberia, she passed at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2018, at her residence.

Cassandra was a member of Disciples of Christ Jesus in Saint Martinville, under the leadership of Pastor Byron Hypolite.

She leaves in God’s care one daughter, Calayshia Morris; two uncles, Clifton Benjamin and Calvin Benjamin, all of Saint Martinville; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Morris; one sister, Theresa Westley; and two brothers, Melvin Benjamin and Livingston Benjamin.
