Barbara T. Laguerre

A memorial service will be held for Ms. Barbara “Tootsie” Theodile Laguerre, 58, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Fletcher Funeral Home.

A native of Olivier and resident of Lafayette, she passed at 10:25 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Lady of the Oaks Retirement Center in Lafayette.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Alvin Theodile of Olivier; two sisters Theresa Theodile of Oliver and Gloria T. Calligan (Troy) of New Iberia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Polite Theodile; and two sisters Leotha Fondal and Sarah Rogers.
