Mrs. W. J. Bodin

Alyssa Claire Durke and Warren Joseph Bodin were married Saturday, October 13, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville. The bride is the daughter of Eric and Suzanne Suire of Loreauville and Frankie Durke of Abbeville. She is the granddaughter of Ethel Mouton of Abbeville, the late William Mouton and the late Lillian and C.J. Durke. The groom is the son of Mark and Belinda Eichor of New Iberia and the grandson of Christine Bodin of New Iberia, the late Warren M. Bodin and the late Derlene and Johnnie Eichor.

Deacon Chris Doucet officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her fathers, the bride wore a lace A-line Oleg Cassini ivory-colored gown crafted with three types of lace motifs and more than 2,000 beads and sequins. She carried a bouquet of maroon peonies and lilies with hits of baby’s breath tied by navy ribbon.

Serving as maid of honor was Gabrielle Borel. Bridesmaids were Kandice Fredrick, sister of the bride, Taylor Laviolette, Chelsie Duhon-Watson, Emilie Broussard and Cora Thibodeaux. Flower girl was Nolia Fredrick and ring bearers were Bentley and Brantley Guidry.

Serving as best men were Luke Latiolais and Nicholas Lancon. Groomsmen were Mark Eichor, father of the groom, Ross Durke, brother of the bride, Daniel Ortega, Cody Boudreaux and Mark Mader. Lauren Edwards and Mariah Bob provided readings and ushers were Noah Suire, brother of the bride, Austin Mouton and Jermaine Bob Jr.

A reception for family and friends was held after the ceremony at Willow Wood Park of New Iberia. Following a wedding cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
