Two days after then No. 13-ranked LSU took down then No. 2-ranked Georgia, 36-16, kicker Cole Tracy and linebacker Devin White earned Southeastern Conference Player of the Week honors.

Tracy was a perfect 5-for-5 with field goals (33, 36, 39, 24, and 30 yards) in Saturday’s win to earn SEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the second time this season.

The five field goals tied a single-game record for the Tigers, and Tracy earlier this season tied the single-game record for longest field goal with his 54-yard kick against Miami in the season opener in Arlington, Texas.

Tracy was also on Monday named as one of the Lou Groza Award’s “Stars of the Week” which was the third time the Tigers kicker has received the honor this season.

White meanwhile recorded a season-high 13 tackles, a half tackle for a loss, a fumble recovery and one quarterback hurry in the win.

Fined for celebrating

LSU was handed a six-figure fine on Monday for its fans rushing the field following Saturday’s upset over Georgia.

The SEC announced that the university will incur a $100,000 fine for its second offense under the league’s policy which prohibits fans from accessing the competition area.

LSU had been previously fined for a similar violation back in 2014 against Ole Miss.

If LSU violates the policy again the fine will be increased to $250,000.

The money from any fine associated with the policy is deposited into the SEC Post-Graduate Scholarship Fund.

Poll position

A day after rising in the two major college football polls, LSU soared up another poll on Monday.

The Football Writers Association of America and National Football Foundation released its Super 16 Poll for Week 7.

LSU went from No. 13 all the way up to No. 5 —the same spot it holds in The Associated Press Top 25 Poll and the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll which were released on Sunday.

Television times

The SEC also announced on Monday the television lineup for the Saturday, Oct. 27 slate of contests.

The slate includes: Vanderbilt at Arkansas (11 a.m., SEC Network), Florida at Georgia in Jacksonville (2:30 p.m., CBS), Kentucky at Missouri (3 p.m., SEC Network), Texas A&M at Mississippi State (6 p.m., ESPN), and Tennessee at South Carolina (6:30 p.m., SEC Network) will round out the day.

LSU and Alabama are both on bye that week.
