Elmae Frederick Martin

LAFAYETTE — Memorial services for Elmae Frederick Martin, 93, will be 3 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Family Life Church, 2223 Dulles Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506,with Pastors Todd Menard and Kelly Segura officiating.

Elmae, born in Centerville and a resident of Scott, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, in her residence. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Her two passions were her family and her church where she would minister to anyone in need.

She is survived by her children Brian Martin and wife, Bonnie, Linda Martin Bourque and husband, Clifton and Melissa Martin Burrows and husband, Mark; siblings Sterling Frederick, Louise F. Dukes and Adam Frederick; grandchildren Melanie Comeaux, Nicole Trimble, Damon Martin, Timothy Martin, Jeremy Bourque, Jennifer B. Gulsby, Janna Bourque Cardona, Joshua Burrows and Hannah Mugaviri; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Martin; parents, Mitchell and Louise Frederick; brother Donald Frederick; sister Emma Dell Meche; and a grandson Jacob Trimble.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice Compassus, Dr. Kemp Coreil, Meagan, Karen and Bronlyn.
