Tigers, students and fans parade through town

LOREAUVILLE — Loreauville’s Homecoming Parade rolled through Main Street Loreauville Thursday afternoon with a huge turnout of local residents.
Loreauville High School’s marching band and football team led the procession, which started at LHS and ended near St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Candy was thrown, music was played and momentum was generated for the Homecoming game LHS will be playing Friday.
The event was followed by a pep rally at the Loreauville High School Gym. Friday, the alumni tea event will be at 5:30 p.m. in the LHS auditorium, followed by the game at 7 p.m. The crowning of the queen will take place at halftime.
The Homecoming Court to be presented during halftime at Friday’s game at Tiger Stadium, 410 N. Main St. in Loreauville, are Christina Albert, Lexi Anthony, Sydney Breaux, Mia Romero, Emmie Frederick and Alix Migues.
