Stolen weapons, bike found

A New Iberia man was arrested after investigators found firearms and a stolen dirt bike at his residence Tuesday.
Trent Viltz, 30, was arrested on four counts of possession of a firearm by convicted felon and possession of stolen property.
Members of the New Iberia Police Department Criminal Investigations, Patrol, K-9, and Traffic Divisions executed a search warrant on Viltz’s residence in the 500 block of Lee Street Tuesday as part of an ongoing homicide investigation. The homicide occurred on Nov. 6 on Lee Street near the intersection of Park Avenue.
During a search of the residence, four firearms were recovered. Investigators also recovered the stolen dirt bike.
Viltz was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
