UPDATE: The New Iberia Police Department said Friday that Cheyenne Girard has been located and is safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: New Iberia police officers are seeking the public’s help in finding a missing woman.

Family members say Cheyenne Girard, 19, left her home on Tuesday to go to a business on Admiral Doyle Drive and had not returned home by Thursday evening. 

Girard is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 110l pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, black pants and pink slippers.

Anyone with information on Cheyenne Girard’s  whereabouts is asked to call New Iberia Police at 369-2306.
