Mrs. Dustin Michael Romero

Meghan Claire Magar and Dustin Michael Romero were married Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Richard and Terry Magar of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Todd and Wendy Romero of Coteau.

The Clergy officiated the 6:00 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her Father, the bride wore a fit and flare gown with blush satin and ivory lace overlay with a cathedral train.

Her headpiece, was ivory chiffon, fingertip length and trimmed in lace and sequin.

She carried a bouquet of Ivory lace over blush with a natural clutch of ivory hydrangea, white O’Hara Ranunculus, burgundy dahlias and ruscus.

Serving as matron of honor was Shawna Magar Falgout and as maid of honor was Maggie Smith. Bridesmaids were Nicole Magar Foster, Allison Romero, Emmi Perez Romero and Emily Reeves. Junior bride was Averi-Claire Abney. Flower girl was Laurel Romero.

Serving as best man was Brock Romero. Groomsmen were Kyle Latiolas, Brenon Wilson, Hale Trahan, Tristin Tauzin and Phillip Mixon. The ring bearers were Eli and John-Luke Falgout.

Kaille Magar, Jude Frederick and Cameron Champagne served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held after the ceremony at The City Club in Lafayette.

Following a wedding trip to Barbados, Lesser Antilles of the West Indies and Disneyworld in Orlando, FL, the couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
