A resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Orson was born in Loreauville on September 26, 1952, to the late Ulysses and Esther Arnaud Persilver. Everyone she met can attest to the fact that she had a heart of pure gold. She was a God fearing woman who loved the Lord. Always supportive and encouraging, always wise and kind. She loved cooking, sewing, singing and spending time with her family. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family. She was a hard worker for many years until she retired and became what her heart truly loved, being a homemaker. She will be remembered as a selfless mother who carried a smile even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength within her, she never complained and always looked for the best in every situation. Her faith was ever strong. She loved and lived every moment she was given. She will forever be cherished and deeply missed by her children. Always graceful until the day God called her home.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. — 2Timothy 4:7.
