LOREAUVILLE — The Loreauville Community Project provided 18 dinners to elderly residents in Loreauville on New Year’s Day.
Dressing, cabbage, sweet potatoes, black-eyed peas, turkey, ham and cake were prepared and served to the senior citizens.
Russell Louviere provided the turkeys and Barbara Pierre provided the ham, according to Loreauville Mayor Brad Clifton. The Rusty Ruiz Foundation helped with cooking, Clifton said. The Loreauville Community Project’s mission is to support other community-minded groups, families and a great quality of life desired by all.
