Mrs. Brett J. Ferguson

Emily Janice Hoag and Brett J. Ferguson were married at 7 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018, St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer “Monty” and Harriet Hoag of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas and Regina Ferguson of Abbeville.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a designer ivory-colored gown which featured high neck beading and an embroidered crystal bodice, which perfectly complemented the soft English net skirt.

For her headpiece, she wore a cathedral veil completing the A-line silhouette bridal gown.

She carried a hand held bouquet of with natural stems with ivory-colored blush wrap featuring white lissanthus, white Playa Blanca Roses with blush center, soft pink California roses, white ranunculus and silver dollar eucalyptus leaves.

Serving as matron of honor was her twin sister, Mrs. Megan Fairley, and as maid of honor Ms. Mary Frances Hoag. Bridesmaids were Ms. Elizabeth Thomason, Mrs. Corinne Sykes-Smith, Mrs. Kate Musso and Mrs. Jodi Tullos.

Serving as best man was Heath M. Hulin. Groomsmen were Jeremy Ferguson, Kyle Ferguson, Matthew Smith and Robert Fairley.

Adam Fenstermaker and Justin Church served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette.

The wedding trip will be deferred until a later date and the couple will reside in Youngsville.
