Memorial services will be conducted for Chester Francis Boudreaux, 87, at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019, in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jerry Bourg officiating.

Inurnment will be at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Patoutville.

A gathering of the family and friends will be on Friday, January 18, 2019, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and the Men’s Rosary Group will pray the Rosary at 10 a.m.

A resident of Lydia, Mr. Boudreaux passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 5:50 a.m. He was a retired farmer and shrimper. He loved hunting, running dogs, shrimping and loved family. 

He is survived by his daughter, Belinda Olivier and her husband Gerard of Grand Marais; granddaughter Melissa Shoalmire and her husband Ryan of New Iberia; grandson Gerrit “T-blu” Landry and his wife Katie of Patoutville; grandson David Boudreaux and his fiancé Tonya of Lydia; two great-granddaughters, Faith Landry and Carrie Boudreaux; and his little companion Midnight. He is also survived by his sisters Linda Hebert of Jefferson Island, Shirley Falgout of Lydia and Delores Broussard and her husband Curtis of Lydia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oleus and Claire LeBlanc Boudreaux; his sister May Guillotte; and his son Barry Boudreaux.
