A Home-going celebration will be held for Mrs. Thelma Marie Sabine Williams,  50, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Lee Alexander, officiating.

She will await the resurrection in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Jeanerette.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday at the funeral home 8 a.m. until the time of the service.

A native of Jeanerette and resident of Lake Charles, she passed away at 9:05 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at her residence in Lake Charles.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Shirley Mae Sabine Baker of Jeanerette; four brothers, Lee Baker III and Lloyd Baker of Houston, Dana Bowser of New Iberia and Milton (Elizabeth) Baker of Los Angeles; one sister, Paula (Rickie) Little of Houston; one loving and caring brother-in-law, Charles Williams Sr. of Jeanerette; one uncle, Allison (Patricia) Sabine of New Orleans; her godfather Carol Bourgeois Jr. of Jeanerette; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Linda Baker Williams; maternal grandmother Thelma Sabine; maternal grandfather Peter Sabine; maternal great-grandmother Annette Millet; two uncles, Arthur Sabine Sr. and Raymond Sabine Sr.; one aunt, Annette Moore; and her godmother Emily August.

Active pallbearers are Lloyd Baker, Chgward Williams, Rogers Williams, Ivan K. Bell, Joseph Moore and Carol Bourgeois Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Lee Baker III, Dana Bowser, Milton Baker, Charles Williams Sr., Rickie Little Sr., Charles Williams Jr. and Raymond Sabine Sr.
