Bailey E. Blanchard and Kaleb Albert were married Friday, January 25, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Church in Loreauville. The bride is the daughter of Norman and Tanya Blanchard of St. Martinville. The groom is the son of Ricky and Anne Albert of Loreauville. The Rev. John Buddy Breaux officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a whimsical, sheath silhouette gown featuring a plunging illusion sweetheart neckline with elegant lace appliques adorning the bodice and the off-the-shoulder sleeves. Covered buttons enclosed the delicate illusion back and a tulle skirt layered sweetly over the lace gown finished with a semi-cathedral length train. For her headpiece, she wore a single tier fingertip length tulle veil with Venitian lace flowers delicated draped around her silhouette. She carried a handheld bouquet of vandellia roses, ranunculus, spray roses, silver dollar gunni with other greenery fillers wrapped with an ivory-colored satin ribbon. A Rosary was drapped around the bottom.

Serving as maid of honor was Chelsie Blanchard, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Morgan Blanchard, sister-in-law of the bride, Krista Bertrand, Nasia Thibodeaux and Carly Trahan. Flower girl was Ashtyn Douet, cousin of the bride, and ring bearer was Noah Hulin, godchild of the bride.

Serving as best man was Ridge Albert, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chase Blanchard, brother of the bride, Craig Vicknair, Cullen Crochet and Brandon LeBlanc. Blake Douet and Lynn Neuville Jr. served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Harold Landry Building in Loreauville. Following a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, the couple will reside in Loreauville.
