Angella LaSalle Patout and Kyle Thomas Clement were married Saturday, April 6, 2019, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Virginia LaSalle Barnett and Frederic “Ric” Patout of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Jeanne Lapeyrouse Clement and Jeff Clement of Jeanerette.
The Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony. Escorted by Ric Patout and Michael Barnett, the bride wore a gown with a delicate illusion neckline transitioning into a soft and whimsical lace bodice. The natural waistline flowed into a sophisticated crepe sheath silhouette with delicate button enclosure and a cascading lace train highlighting the back of the gown.
For her headpiece, she wore a single tier, raw edge cathedral veil. She carried a delicate bouquet of blush and white garden roses, white ranunculus and spray roses surrounded by greenery, ruscus and eucalyptus with a splash of blue thistle. A Rosary belonging to her grandfather, Al LaSalle, was wrapped around the bouquet.
Serving as matron of honor was Valerie LaSalle Hajec, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Abigail Henagan Daly, Natalie Decourt Guillory, ZZ St. Germain, Lauren Malespin, Blair Broussard, Caity Breaux, Casey Breaux, Callie Culbertson and Taylor Laviolette. Flower girl was Olivia Mae Hajec. Ring bearers were Jack Romero and Luke Landry.
Serving as best men were Kylan Buttler and Kaleb Freyou. Groomsmen were Nicholas Patout, Joshua Baudoin, Mason Tibbs, Andrew Patin, Chris Burdette, Charlie Gaspard, Nathan Gondron and Taylor Dugas.
A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Antique Rose Ville in New Iberia.
Following a wedding trip to British Columbia, Canada, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
