LETTER TO EDITOR: Plan to see Unplanned, whether you are Pro-Life or not

One recent afternoon, I sat in a dark theater with only four other people and watched the movie “Unplanned.” Unplanned is the story of Abby Johnson. Abby Johnson worked for Planned Parenthood and became the youngest director of a Planned Parenthood Clinic which was in Bryan, Texas. Abby had had two abortions of her own, one while she worked for the clinic. Abby was named Director of the Year but then began to have doubts about her mission to help women. When she questioned why abortions were going up and not down due to “family planning,” Abby was told abortions paid the bill, contraceptives did not!
In 2009, everything changed. Abby was asked to assist with an ultrasound guided abortion. Abby watched in horror as a 13 week old baby fought for its life. She watched as it tried in vain to get away from the killing tools of the abortionist. Nine days later, Abby resigned from Planned Parenthood.
Today, Abby directs “Then There Were None,” an organization designed to help Planned Parenthood workers flee the darkness of the abortion industry, thus trying to save babies. Unplanned was given an “R” rating to keep the viewership down by the motion picture industry. The reason they gave was: Violence. Wait! How can a medical procedure be described as “violent”? Abortion is not a medical procedure, it’s murder. Whether you are Pro-Abortion or Pro-Life, please see the movie. If you are Pro-Life, you will receive a greater resolve to stop abortion. If you are Pro-Choice, you may see “The Light,” just like Abby did.
