Good morning Lord.

Thank you for teaching me when I am stressed to pause. Thank you for teaching me when I am empty, to pause. Thank you for filling me up and giving me Your peace that passes all understanding even in times when the natural response would be to panic.
My mind cannot fathom the number of times each day You protect me from evil, this world is now filled with so much. Sometimes you protect me from myself. We are often taught to be our own worst enemy, listening to negative self-talk or the voices of strangers who think they have knowledge of what is best for us, without even knowing us — as you do.
Thank you for making my way plain before me, even when the road is hidden temporarily by circumstances. Thank you that you have gone before me, at times showing me proof from decades in the past affecting situations happening today, and those yet to unfold in the future.

Thank you for the family of God. I meet a new sister or brother every day. The vastness of your touch is not only eternal, it is global. We are not strangers when we meet through introduction of Holy Spirit. We are kindred spirits, bonded by the love we have for our Savior, the one who calls us by name and reaches into the depths of despair, loneliness, confusion, hopelessness and unforgiveness to revive us with strength — through love that we know is undeserved, mercy that is endless, compassion beyond our ability to imitate. All these things are given to us as gifts when we believe. Help our unbelief.
Awaken our spirits to the NOW of you, Lord. Praise God that we have recently celebrated the resurrection, the Passover, the hope of everlasting life.
Lord, Your children are tired. They are hungry, they have missed the mark of Your intended destiny, or they have settled in for believing everything they have is of their own making when You are the one that blesses, that gives gifts and talents irrevocably for Your glory, Your purposes. Help us to see through Your eyes the world around us. Help us to see the needs of others and give us the wisdom to know how to change our world for the better because You have ordained the praises of Your people.
Father, give us courage to walk where others have not gone. Give us wisdom to know the right path, the right relationships, the right steps to make our journey on earth as fruitful for Your kingdom as for our own lives. Having things and the comfort of financial stability is a wonderful thing, but Father without the blessing from you, these things are in vain. These treasures are in vessels of clay, they easily break, and we are left holding nothing.
But you Lord, bring new wineskins to hold new wine. Pour out your best Lord, as in the wedding of Cana. The guests thought the best was held for last but in truth it was Your touch that changed water into wine. Let us drink of the foundation of Your anointing and let our cups overflow with the riches that can bless others.
You have prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies, the feast is ready to begin, the invitations have been sent. Some are too busy to accept, others are afraid they are unworthy, still others will hide and sneak into the banquet hoping no one will notice, they don’t belong. Only you Heavenly Father, see the hearts of mankind.
Thank you for the repose, to reflect on Your beauty and to live in the hope that Your eternal love is mine forever! Amen.
