Raynette Fino, left, and Sherman Taylor of local John Deere dealership Sunshine Quality Solutions brought several baskets and bins of baby clothing, diapers, wipes, cleaning supplies, toothpaste, toothbrushes, stuffed animals and other items for the clients of the Disch-DeClouet Social Service Center. Fino said that she and Taylor heard about the needs of the clients at their churches and that they wanted to help those in need. ’Raynette called me and asked what some of our most critical needs are. I told her that we always needed diaper and wipes.(Having an adequate supply of diapers is so necessary for the health of a baby.) Even before we could unload the SUV, one of the volunteers of the Center said that a client asked if there were any size 4 diapers. We immediately handed her a pack they had brought. In addition, they brought two large bins with new and gently used baby clothing. Also, clients ask for cleaning supplies but we do not ordinarily have any on hand, so the cleaning supplies will be greatly appreciated.
