At a gathering of domestic violence programs from around the state, the Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence presented Chez Hope Inc. with their prestigious Program of the Year Award in recognition of the Franklin-based nonprofit organization’s work and successful expansion into Iberia and St. Martin Parishes.

Chez Hope’s Executive Director Cherrise Picard accepted the award on behalf of the organization’s board, staff, volunteers and domestic violence survivors. She thanked the Legislators, grantors, members of law enforcement, the community, Chez Hope’s Sister Programs and the LCADV for their continuous support.

“Thank you for all of your faith and dedication to Chez Hope and for helping us achieve our mission of providing optimum services to victims of domestic violence and working toward social change throughout our communities” Picard said.
