Experience a harvest of delicious homegrown produce and homemade products from area farmers, artists and crafters. Also included are ceramics, honey, jellies, jams, herbs, candies and more. The market is held every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

at the SugArena

 The SugArena and the Cajun Rodeo Association have teamed up to bring the SugArena Summer Rodeo 2019 to New Iberia on Friday and Saturday. General admission is $10, with children 6 to 12 allowed in for $5. Children 5 years and under enter free. Gates open at 6 p.m. with shows at 7:30 p.m. both nights.

3. Karaoke for a cause on local arts scene

“Broadway Backwards on the Bayou” is a fundraiser for the Iberia Performing Arts League’s fall production of “Side by Side by Sondheim.” The show features karaoke with the performers singing Broadway tunes against type, whether it be gender, age, or what have you. Admission is $15 per person. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Essanee Theatre.
