History: After his service in the US NAVY, Richard Allain returned to his home town where he worked for another local jewelry store in 1947. He later opened his own store sharing a building with Paul’s Flower Shop in 1960. As the business grew, he relocated in 1965 on to Main Street in New Iberia and leased the building which was formerly the Ford Dealership. In 1969, Richard Allain purchased the building which is the present location of 221 East Main Street. Later, his wife Anna Schwing Allain joined the business and together they developed the store into what it is today. The store is currently owned and operated by the children and grand-children of Mr. Allain.

Jeremy Cooper- 3rd Generation watch maker, 20 years watch repair sales and service, CW21 Certified, Swatch Group Certified. In 2010, Jeremy completed and passed the CW21 certification test; a 4 day test of skills for watch making. He also had the pleasure of apprenticing under his grandfather, Mr. Richard Allain for more than 17 years.

They sell a large number of engagement rings, diamond earrings and stackable diamond bands. They also have a large selection of watches such as Luminox, Citizen, Allain and Garmin.

One thing the customer may not expect is Allain’s ability to custom design and create any jewelry piece the customer may want. Apart from custom design, they provide many other services such as pearl restringing, appraisals, jewelry and watch repairs and bridal registries.

The in-house jewelry and watch repair services. Their jeweler, Mr. Jimmy has 51 years of experience in repairing and creating custom pieces. The watch repairman, Jeremy Cooper, is certified to work on high-end watches as well as your everyday watch. All services are done in a timely manner with the utmost importance. They strive to keep the communication between customer and sales associate as simple as possible by offering Facebook Messenger, Instagram and texting as ways to contact us.
