Mrs. Taylor Lane Blanchard

Catherine Louise Domingues and Taylor Lane Blanchard were married Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Domingues of Erath. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lane Blanchard of Loreauville.

The Rev. Andre Metrejean officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown by designer Martina Liana featuring ivory-colored lace and tulle on silk Zibeline, creating a mermaid silhouette. A sweetheart neckline was highlighted by a scalloped lace edge and delicate straps. Elongated cutouts around the waist were covered in textured beading. The dropped waistline and long flowing train were adorned with lace appliqués and glittering ivory-colored beading.

Serving as maid of honor was Caitlin Domingues, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Mattalyn Luquette, Chelsie Domingues, cousin of the bride, and Logan Prados. Ava Frederick, godchild of the groom, was flower girl and ring bearer was Wesley Blanchard, godchild of the bride and groom. Serving as best man was Zachary Blanchard, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Philip Domingues, cousin of the bride, Rhett Lanie and Quaid Broussard.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Magdalen Place in Abbeville. Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Loreauville.
