A Home-going Celebration will be held for Mrs. Mable Faye Mouton, 55, the former Mable Faye Landry, at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. James Broussard officiating.

She will await the resurrection in St. Matthew Cemetery in New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will begin on Saturday at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

A resident of New Iberia, she passed at 2 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2019, at her residence.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Willie Joseph Mouton Jr. of New Iberia; one son, Willie Joseph Mouton III and his fiance Sandee White of Loreauville; one daughter, Nakia Ann Mouton (Marcus Williams Sr.) of Cade; one stepdaughter, Crystal Nicole Provost of New Iberia; mother Beatrice Landry of Abbeville; three sisters, Melanie Louise Landry-Phillips (Paul Sr.) of Lafayette, and Roselyn Landry and Shonda Rene Landry of Abbeville; one brother, Homer John Landry Jr. (Brandy M.) of Lafayette; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Homer John Landry Sr.; brother Marlon James Landry; maternal grandparents Whitney Mire and Mable Broussard Mire; paternal grandparents Aristille Landry and Emma Batiste Landry; and several aunts and uncles.

Active pallbearers are Jahari Allen, Quantrelle Allen, Kendall Mouton, Taylor Phillips, Marcus Williams, Sr. and Brian Allen.

Honorary pallbearers are Troy Michele, Jr., Gregory Mouton, Reginald Babin, Brian White, Shannon Vallot, Shawn Vallot, Colby Landry, Jacolby Allen and Damauria Boatman.
