Bountiam Banthakoun

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Bountiam Banthakoun, 71, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Fletcher Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow at Southwest Louisiana Crematory on Trotter Street in New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at the funeral home on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and resume on Saturday at the funeral home 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

A native of Vientiane, Laos and resident of New Iberia, she passed at 12:33 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2019, at her residence.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Lisa Banthakou of New Iberia; two sons Phetnoma Banthakoun of New Iberia and Keovongsa Banthakoun of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
