On August 8, days before her passing Former Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco was inducted into the Louisiana’s Retired State Employees Association Hall of Fame. The award was in recognition to her 2004-2008 tenure as Governor. The ceremony was held at the Cecil J. Picard Center for Child Development and Lifelong Learning.
