Khamsene Sanoubane

A funeral service for Mrs. Khamsene Xayakoummane Sanoubane will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, at Fletcher Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow at Southwest Louisiana Crematory, Trotter Street in New Iberia.

Due to the Aug. 1, 2021, Louisiana COVID-19 mandate, masks are required to be worn by all attendees at the funeral home and crematory.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

A native of Vientiane, Laos, she passed away at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at her residence.

She is survived by two daughters, Oun Xayakoummane (Jay Mullins) of New Iberia and Dawn Pheuahakpay of Layton, Utah; two brothers, Say Sanoubane and Amphay Sanoubane; three sisters, Judy Thinoi, Nouning Simma and Thongkham Phoumevong; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
