This month we’re all about wellness, and what better person to ask for a healthy recipe than nutritionist and weight loss coach Laurel Blackery? She teamed up with Delcambre Seafood & Farmers Market to show us how to make delicious, nutritious tuna dip from scratch.

– 8 oz light cream cheese

– 1/3 cup light sour cream

– 1 rib of celery, chopped

– 1 Tbsp lemon juice

– 1 tsp Tabasco Roasted Pepper Sauce

– 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

– 1 tsp Cajun 180 Pro Boil (or favorite seafood boil seasoning blend)

– 1 tsp Cajun 180 Trinity seasoning blend

STEP-BY-STEP DIRECTIONS

Step 1. Flake smoked fish with a fork. Be careful to debone first.

Step 2. Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until mixed. Do not over blend.

Step 3. Refrigerate for 1 hour, then serve with corn chips, pita, crackers, cucumber chips or celery and carrot sticks. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley or sprinkle with smoked paprika.
