The last day to register to vote or change voter information before the Dec. 11 fall open general election is Saturday through the Geaux Vote Online Registration website.

Voters can go towww.geauxvote.com in order to register to vote or make changes to the voter’s existing record. the voter must have their valid state ID or driver’s license when registering or making changes.

Voters also may apply to register in person at the Iberia Parish Registrar’s office between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A person appearing to register to vote at the Registrar of Voters office must provide proof of identity, age and residency. A valid Louisiana driver’s license or Louisiana identification card having the current address or a birth certificate or other documents which establish identity, age, and residency may be submitted.
