Jessie Frida Figaro Lee, 83, a resident of Jeanerette and native of Port of Spain, Trinidad, passed away peacefully at 9:03 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at St. Peter United Methodist Church, 986 St. Peter Street, Jeanerette, LA 70544. Burial will follow funeral services in the St. Peter United Methodist Church Cemetery. All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

Jessie was blessed with three children, Louise Cielto, Edith La Chapelle and Denyse Poarch; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her extended family includes her companion and his daughters and spouses; a niece and her husband; and a faithful friend.
