JEANERETTE — A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Dana Michelle Poirrier, 34, who passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday at Pellerin Funeral Home.

A native of New Iberia, Dana was born on August 4, 1987, and was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her parents Adam and Ronnie Derouen Poirrier Jr. of Jeanerette; son Aaron Carl Poirrier of Jeanerette; sisters Rebecca L. Broussard (Keith) of Jeanerette and Tissa Kinchen (Quantis) of Texas; brothers Tommy Robichaux of Youngsville, Shane Robichaux (Ashley) of Billings, Montana and Adam Poirrier III of Texas; and her companion Aaron Ourso of Jeanerette.
