Funeral services will be held for Barry LaVerne Sanders, 65, at noon on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at St. Joseph Baptist Church, 877 Irish Bend Road in Franklin. Interment will be in the Irish Bend Cemetery in Franklin. The officiating minister will be Rev. Ronald C. Young.

Barry passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Spring Valley Hospital in Spring Valley, Nevada.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until noon, with the funeral service commencing at noon.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Barbara Anderson Sanders of Franklin; his children Brandi Michelle (Jarrett) Sanders-Thomas of Missouri City, Texas and Breana Chenae’ Sanders of Sugarland, Texas; his brother Dudley Avery Sanders of Franklin; his sister Janet Young (James) Barkey Franklin; and his granddaughter Dakota Michelle Thomas of Missouri City, Texas.

Otis Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin is in charge of the arrangements.
