Evangeline Little League is now accepting registration for its spring 2022 season. Tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. Games will be played at the Louisiana PepperPlex in New Iberia.

Registration can be completed online only, either on the Evangeline Little League’s Facebook page, or their website https://tshq.bluesombrero.com/evangelinelittleleague. The cost is $80 per player and $50 for each additional player. There will not be any in-person registration this year.

ELL offers six different divisions for kids of all ages:

Tee ball – 4 to 6 years old (COED)

Coach Pitch – 7 to 8 years old (boys and girls divisions)

Minor Kid Pitch – 9 to 10 years old (boys and girls divisions)

Intermediate Division – 11 to 13 year old boys

Major Girls – 11 to 12 year old girls

Jr/Sr – 14 to 16 year olds (boys and girls divisions)
