Free at-home COVID tests
Starting this week, every home in the U.S. will be able to order an additional set of four free at-home COVID-19 tests.
Ordering the tests can be done by visiting COVIDtests.gov.
Each order includes four individual rapid antigen COVID-19 tests. Orders will ship free. There is a limit of two orders per residential address.

Masks optional on Iberia Parish school buses
As of Monday, March 7, masks are no longer required on Iberia Parish School buses. Masks will be optional for students and drivers, according to a social media post made by the Iberia Parish School Board on Friday.
Job fair to be held in Broussard on Thursday
The city of Broussard, the Broussard Chamber of Commerce and the Broussard Economic Development Corporation is hosting a job fair Thursday morning.
The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Ballroom of Broussard, 405 Albertson Parkway in Broussard.
The event is designed to connect local businesses with job seekers with a variety of education and experience.
Healthcare, mechanical, hospitality, manufacturing, and other industries will be represented at the event with employers looking to fill part-time and full-time positions.

Spring Break Camp
It’s almost time to register for the Iberia Parish Recreation’s Spring Break Camp.
Registration opens on Monday, March 14. The camp, which is for boys and girls ages 4-12, will be held at Willow Wood Park from Monday, April 18, to Friday, April 22. There will be no camp on April 15 because of the Good Friday holiday.
The cost is $85 a week per child or $20 per child per day drop-in.
Campers must bring their lunch each day. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided.

Iberia Parish Council meeting rescheduled
Today’s Iberia Parish Council meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 16. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Iberia Parish Courthouse.
