While many teams around Louisiana are scrambling to replace coaches over the summer, the Westgate football team seems to have perfected its staff. Led by veteran coach Ryan Antoine, the Tigers have assembled a cadre that combines high level playing experience with a deep understanding of the culture of New Iberia.

Many players returned to Westgate after their college or professional careers, proving that the opportunities for players at Westgate don’t end once they graduate.

The Tigers will be looking to defend their Class 4A title this year, and will rely on the expertise of every coach to accomplish their goal.
