Mount Olive Baptist Church #1 – Freetown will be celebrating the nine year anniversary of the church’s pastor July 17 at 10 a.m.

The Rev. DeAndre Johnson of Greater St. Steven Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin will deliver the pastor anniversary sermon.

The event will take place at the church, located at 6519 Chastant Rd. in New Iberia.

“We are blessed beyond measure to celebrate our pastor and his wife,” Lutricia Simon Feast, chairperson for the anniversary committee, said. “Please join us for this special occasion in worshipping and praising God.”
