Sgt. Daesha Hughes said officers were sent to the 1400 block of Fulton Street about 7 p.m. March 21 for a report of gunshots. Police were able to identify King on surveillance video, firing shots from the window of a car. He missed the intended targets and no injuries were reported.

A warrant was issued and King until Sunday had eluded authorities.

He was booked into Iberia Parish Jail.
