A ‘Who Done It?’ at Rosehill Cemetery

A year ago, a New Iberia friend sent me photos of my parents, and Indest grandparent’s, graves in Rosehill Cemetery. Their final resting place was in horrible shape and embarrassing. It’s been 30 years since my last visit.

Two weeks ago, I contacted my friend to ask if he knew anyone who could power wash the graves, and he sent me a relative’s phone number.

When I called, he asked for the plot location. I emailed photos to him, and he drove over to look.

Within 20 minutes, he called and told me that nothing needed to be done, as the graves were in excellent condition. He texted a photo that was amazing, and I thanked him for the help.

Now, the ‘Who Done It?’

My sister and her family lives in Baton Rouge, so I texted the photo and asked if she had the work done. Her response was ‘no,’ but she was very thankful for the Good Samaritan’s help!

Both of us would like to express our sincere thanks for the unexpected and spectacular gift.
