With each passing year, we are amazed at what our Bright from the Start nominees have accomplished. These elementary, middle and high school students from around Acadiana shine with their personalities, character and performances in their schools and communities.

This year’s eight Bright from the Start honorees are perfect examples of the accomplishments that result from hard work, and are sure to make a positive impact wherever life takes them. We hope that their achievements and outlooks not only captivate you – as they did us – but also inspire and motivate other students to stretch just a little further in meeting their own potential. 

Over the next eight days, you will meet this year’s honorees: Kortlan Williams, Layla Lavergne, Zane Blanchard, Luke Huffman, Avery Monica, Amanda Moore Sidha Kunada, and Paxton Nguyen.
