It took me 4 readings of Elwood Watson’s Opinion piece in the May 20, 2023 Daily Iberian to:

1.) Bite into the drivel

2.) Attempt to swallow

3.) Calm my tummy and

4.) Do my best to keep it down.

For a learned writer to use the following uncouth words;… rhetorically obscene, offensive comments, ire of the rational-minded, desperate attempts that were unconvincingly, yeah, right, whatsoever, callous rhetoric, and then quoting Schumer; shocking, revolting, utterly revolting…to first describe his target and then conclude it would take only a decent human with 1/2 of a brain to agree! (Did he just accidently describe HIMSELF?)

He then goes all MAGA himself when he wishes for the times that such a person would have been driven from office, FORCED to resign.

Is it any wonder our universities are turning out the citizens who would agree with Watson…a PROFESSOR of History, Black Studies and (yes) Gender and Sexuality! Need I repeat that to make my point?

No, I do not think I’m just attacking the messenger here…if I were doing that I would have asked him to explain HIS views on BUD LIGHT…
