A passionate sports enthusiast, David played tennis in high school and delighted in watching football and baseball, particularly cheering on his Alma Mater, his beloved LSU Tigers. His love for the environment was reflected in his enjoyment of cutting grass, believing in the importance of maintaining clean and beautiful surroundings.

A proud veteran, David served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He held a master’s degree and dedicated his professional life as an accountant and controller for the Housing Authority of New Orleans. His commitment to service extended beyond his career, as he donated blood five times per year for 25 years, contributing to the noble cause of saving lives.
